TOP BEST HITSGet Up By MEGACIPH

April 15, 2024 by SAIIDZ

The moment I hit play on Megaciph's song "Get Up," I knew this was going to be good. His smooth singing just grabs you right away. Did you know his name was cool as well? MEGACIPH stands for Mental Energies Gather And Circulate In Positive Harmony. The CIPH part means big circles of influence.

Megaciph, or Mental Energies Gather And Circulate In Positive Harmony, is an artist who started later in life. But man, does he have an important message to share! His music proudly blends hip-hop, R&B, soul, and afrobeat styles. It's made for dancing and moving.

What I like most is how Megaciph doesn't just rap about the normal things in life. His songs talk about spirituality, community, and going against "the military-industrial complex and all forms of oppression." In a world with so many problems, it's great to hear an artist spreading positive words of unity and change. The song also introduces another talented singer, Miss Primrose. Her smooth voice adds a soulful element that I dig.

Megaciph is challenging you to dance along to each new beat. And it feels good to move to all the energy bursting from the song! Every time the music switches up, it lifts my mood even higher. Megaciph talks about having a nice outfit and going on nice outings to "get up," which I think means getting motivated and enjoying life. He meditates and stays grounded to keep his head up during hard times. I like how the lyrics are positive and inspirational. Megaciph is challenging us to keep striving, bettering ourselves, and lifting each other through tough situations. He's spreading a good message.

By the end, I'm feeling euphoric, like Megaciph transported me somewhere amazing just through the power of sound. Even after it finishes, I still feel all electrified. It's cool how a single song can do that, right?

Megaciph deserves more recognition for sure. I love that his conscious hip-hop spreads important messages with such fun beats. Through his awesome drops, work, and teaming up with other creative souls, he's sure to win over many more fans.

In times like these, it feels so good to hear an artist spreading inspiration. I can't wait to see where Megaciph's journey goes from here and how his art continues to impact the world. This "Get Up" track has me fired up to learn more, are you in? Let's check out what else he's got!

TOP BEST HITSAkira’s Blues By TREVOUR AMUNGA

April 15, 2024 by SAIIDZ

I am back again with another music review for you all. This time we're talking about an artist from Kenya who's making some serious waves out in LA, Trevour Amunga. Trevour just dropped a new 3-track EP called "Akira's Blues" and the album is a vibe for sure.

This EP was recorded at Golden Impala Studios in LA, with "My Cousin Housee" recorded in Trevour's bedroom too. Darius Porter handled the mix/master and MBWAV produced the beats.

Let's start with the opener, "Candy Paint." Now, this track sets the mood perfectly. We come in easy with those dreamy synth lines floating all over the place. It's got that upbeat hip-hop vibe that just lifts your spirits. The laid-back flow flows on that beat quickly too. He paints quick pictures with his lyrics about hustling and struggling financially but still pushing through.

Next is "My Cousin Housee," which takes things to another level sonically. This beat is way more multilayered, yet grabs you just the same. His flow is crystal clear over this jam too. The song is about finding escape with family when life gets heavy, we all need that place to unwind.

Wrapping things up is "Brixton 3d." Now, this joint has more of a melodious, steady vibe to it. Trevour gets real on this track, delivering a wake-up call to stop making excuses and chase those dreams like he did as a kid. You can feel his passion and ambition coming through.

Trevour's first project "For Akira" was about youth and ambition, and he says this EP "Akira's Blues" finds him still dealing with the same struggles and chasing the same goals. Just have to keep pushing through. Sonically he's been bumping nothing but old soul like The Ohio Players and War, and you can hear how that influences his melodies and free self-expression.

In his own words, Trevour said "the worst thing that happened to us is that we grew, lost the charm that we had scared to try something new, but it’s still alright because I’m in love with you." Keep pushing through the blues, Trevour! I think I've painted a clear picture of why Trevour Amunga's "Akira's Blues" EP is worth your time. This young artist is doing big things blending hip hop, soul, and R&B influences into a fresh, emotive sound. Be sure to check him out and stay tuned for what's next.

You can stream Trevour Amunga's "Akira's Blues" EP on all major platforms now. Just search his name on Spotify and you'll find these effortless tracks ready to vibe to.

TOP BEST HITSNature Odyssey By CARPE DIEM

April 15, 2024 by SAIIDZ

The band Carpe Diem just put out a new song called "Nature Odyssey." As soon as I started listening, I felt like I was walking through a big, beautiful forest.

The music has all kinds of cool instruments that make the woods come alive. And the words paint some nice pictures in your head of being out in nature. It's like the songwriters want us to appreciate how people are connected to the Earth. After hearing it once, I swear I felt like I was hiking through an old forest! I could imagine what it would be like wandering around huge trees that have been there forever.

Swirling guitars and birdsong set the scene, like the dense greenery parting to reveal a hidden glade. Lead vocalist Ada's ethereal voice is like a discovery among the trees. Her lilting melodies float atop rhythmic percussion, carrying you further into the forest with each verse. Guitarist Keith lays down textures that mimic the rustling leaves and rushing streams, making you feel like you're truly walking among the scenery they describe.

Subtle production touches like the occasional pattering raindrops in the very background enhance the song. It's easy to close your eyes and picture yourself amid the lush landscape the duo has crafted.

"Nature Odyssey" conveys an important message about our world compassionately through its lyrics. The songs portray beautiful imagery of natural places but also contain a note of caution about how human activities have affected the environment. Their goal is to stir positive change through music that connects emotionally but also makes one think deeply.

Carpe Diem is a duo made up of two people named Ada and Keith. Ada and Keith are superb at making whole worlds out of sound in their songs. Previous songs like "Dream Big, Little Girl" and "Your Face, Your Fate" really showed how well they can write lyrics that tap into your feelings. Now with "Nature Odyssey," they've taken it to another level.

Instead of just words, they use all kinds of sounds to send you somewhere magical. It's like the music opens a door straight into an enchanted forest.

The band cites Satoshi Gogo's "Waltz for a Rainy Day" as inspiration for the track's sound and structure. Drawing from folk and psychedelic styles, Carpe Diem injects a cinematic quality through the innovative use of field recordings. I hope telling you about Carpe Diem's new song "Nature Odyssey" makes you want to check it out yourself. You can listen on Spotify or wherever you normally get your tunes. When you do, I think you'll agree it's the perfect musical adventure for your ears!

TOP BEST HITSS. B. BUTLER By ELLERY TWINING

April 12, 2024 by SAIIDZ

Ellery Twining sure knows how to mix the old with the new. His last album "RESULTS" showed he could take sounds we know and twist them into stuff we have never heard before. Now his new song "S.B. Butler" keeps pushing the limits of what pop music can do.

At first listen, "S.B. Butler" feels like a big warm hug of memories from back in the day. You hear funky electronic noises wrapped around nice piano tunes and then, it shoots you right back to when we were kids. The voice drifts in and out like scenes from a dream you can't quite recall, and it leaves you with lots of questions.

Eric Lichter and David Bentley helped achieve this surreal yet nostalgic sound design through their experimental techniques at Dirt Floor Recording Studio. Imaginary beats and quiet drones enhance the song's meditative vibe while still maintaining accessibility.

The music video for this song takes it up a notch. It was directed by the talented Michelle Gemma. She filmed it in an elementary school, playground, and some neighborhoods, taking you back to being a kid. Gemma knows how to paint a picture with her camera.

They even put in old photos from the Freitas Family, blending memories that feel personal with the ones we all shared growing up. The model Carly Straub stands in looking back on it all as an adult, seeing how time changes how we view both events and feelings.

Twining said the video was a "contextual dissemination of the Generation X transformation into the Post Generation" and he for sure nailed it. Gemma's pictures feel comfortingly familiar but also a little strange somehow. They highlight how we only start to value little kid things once we realize how fast time flies by. That's the core theme Twining explores with this song "S.B. Butler."

The song combines funk, blues, and experimental electronics in a cool way. The bass keeps it loose and groovy, while the drums lay back to keep things funky. The instrument leaves you with a feeling of something being slightly "off" much like memories dug up that don't quite match the original experience.

"S.B. Butler" is a poignant piece of art that uses Generation X nostalgia as a lens for reflection. It acknowledges both the comfort and melancholy in looking back, while also challenging preconceptions of what defines pop music. "S.B. Butler" is a must-listen that deserves repeat play to uncover new layers of meaning.

TOP BEST HITSHealing By JOE BYGRAVES

April 9, 2024 by SAIIDZ

Joe Bygraves is a name you're sure to hear more of in 2024. This 27-year-old singer-songwriter from Bedfordshire has been creating a big name for himself. Today I'm checking out his latest single "Healing."

The melody just pulled me right in from the start. It made me feel all warm inside, like hugging an old friend. Pretty soon I was lost in the music and feeling super nostalgic. Each time I listened, I noticed new little things I hadn't heard before. Like the faint backup vocals and light keys. They gave the song so much depth and made me feel close to it.

You could picture yourself singing this around a campfire on a summer night. Music is best when it brings people together, and this song does that. His voice is smooth as silk but with some grit too. That gives the song an edge that grabs you. This track was super comforting, and I could relate to the feelings a lot.

Joe is no stranger to big performances. He's opened for famous artists like Paloma Faith, Jools Holland, and Ronan Keating in front of huge crowds of thousands. But his talents also shine on a smaller scale. When it's just him and his guitar, his songs take on a haunting feel. I’m very excited about his future based on this song.

He likes folk singers who tell stories with their songs. But he also looks up to pop stars who make hits, like Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, and Bedfordshire-based artist Tom Grennan. Joe blends different styles into music that sticks with you. Whether he draws from folk or pop, he makes the kind of songs you just want to listen to again and again. He puts feelings into lyrics that pair with tunes you can't forget. Joe is very talented. You need to check out "Healing" and see for yourself why it's so memorable.

With his assured vocals and gift for melody, Joe Bygraves is primed for big things in 2024. "Healing" is the perfect showcase for his talents, at once deeply personal yet massively rousing. It's left me eager to hear what else this rising star has in store. Wherever his musical journey takes him, I am confident Joe will continue making songs you can lose yourself in. The best way to listen is to stream it online. All you need to do is search for "Joe Healing" on your favorite music apps or streaming sites.

TOP BEST HITSRandom Number By GENEVIEVE SOVEREIGN

April 9, 2024 by SAIIDZ

Genevieve Sovereign released this new quirky little tune, "Random Number" on March 22nd as the lead track for her upcoming experimental electronic album "STARSEEDS WANTED: Enquire Within." And let me tell you, it's one random ride from start to finish!

The song kicks off with some glitchy, rewinding effects with vocal samples that'll have your head bobbing before the beat even drops. Genevieve recorded those vocals casually during a studio visit with producer Michael Wheeler back in February. And wouldn't you know, inspiration struck instantly! Michael put together a demo with melodies built from the samples just one week later.

As soon as Genevieve Sovereign heard that demo, she knew she had to write some lyrics for it. And the words she came up with are so clever, she dives into that feeling of living life by chance and going with the flow. Doesn't it sometimes feel like the random choices we make each day are what lead us down new paths? Well, that's exactly what this song is about!

After Genevieve Sovereign wrote the lyrics, she headed back to the studio to record the full version with Michael. They had the final mix done by early March. Can you believe how fast they put this together? Genevieve said it was probably the smoothest, quickest track she's ever made. It just seemed to create itself.

\"Random Number\" is Genevieve's most experimental release yet, with that eccentric sound that is exactly what makes it so fun to listen to. There are all kinds of oddball electronic noises, glitchy beats, and even some philosophical lyrics thrown in for good measure. It truly is a random adventure from start to finish.

This track gives us a chance to catch a glimpse at her upcoming album, "STARSEEDS WANTED: enquire within." She's been working hard writing all kinds of experimental electronic songs. With "Random Number" leading the way, I bet this album is going to be her most creative one yet.

The song has an extremely lively, entertaining feel that is reminiscent of electronic indie pop. "Random Number" is the very best song to listen to if you're searching for something that gets you thinking while still being enjoyable. It appears that Genevieve's entire endeavor will be distinctive as well. I'm eager to hear what more she comes up with. You may start listening to "Random Number" on all of the main music apps right now. Check it out for yourself right away.

TOP BEST HITSGreatest Combination 2 By SUPER SAIYAN JAY

April 9, 2024 by SAIIDZ

Every hip-hop enthusiast is in for a true treat. We're getting into the newest project from Super Saiyan Jay and King Dev, two heavyweights in West Palm Beach, Florida. Today they are here promoting their new album, "Greatest Combination 2." I have been keeping up with Jay's career for some time now. Alongside King Dev, he is at the peak of his game and blasts out unfiltered, genuine lyrics like it's nothing.

The start of the album "Demon Time" establishes the mood with its rough flow and intense percussion. With precision, they lay down verse after verse as they emerge from the gates swinging. The rhythmic changes provide a dynamic atmosphere. It's an intense method to get things going. "T.T.W.F." is the next, and things grow even more dramatic. On the tight instrumental, the pair puts forth even more effort. Hearing an artist be honest like this is refreshing. You sense the intensity and feeling pouring through.

"Two Different Worlds" incorporates some slick sampling to give the track a more layered sound. But I don't think that means it's any less hard. Jay and Dev find the perfect balance here. The melodies provide a nice contrast to the gritty verses. "Wondering Who" is a standout for me with its old-school vibe. That gorgeous sample transports me right back to the golden era of hip-hop. But things explode before you know it, proving these two haven't lost their edge one bit. The way Jay rides the beat is mesmerizing, his flow so tight and precise.

The album keeps the momentum going strong through tracks like "Up The Road" and "Run It Back/Smoke". Production is on point throughout, giving each track its distinct flavor. Every bar packs meaning while adding a catchy delivery. "Old Habits/Do It" brings some laser-sharp rapping over banging drums. The confidence is contagious, and you can tell they're having a blast flexing their skills. The chemistry they have after collaborating again is undeniable.

The closing track "Escape" saved the biggest hit for last. They cap things off with some of their most boastful bars. It's the flawless high-energy conclusion to such a consistently dope album.

Great Combination 2 is straight fire from start to finish. Every song is a banger, there are no weak tracks at all. The lyrics are on point and the beats bang hard. If you're really into hip-hop, this album needs to be in your playlist rotation for sure. Jay and Dev outdid themselves this time. Their first collaboration was dope, but this one takes it to another level.

If you want to hear some serious skills on the mic, go listen to Greatest Combination 2 now on Spotify.

TOP BEST HITSWithout You By RISE

April 9, 2024 by SAIIDZ

The return EP "Memories and Possibilities" by Liverpool rock band RISE showcases their fresh enthusiasm and passion for music, even though it has been more than three decades since the band's original lineup performed live. With a piece called "Without You," in particular, "Memories and Possibilities" transports listeners back to the heyday of melodic rock, emulating the excitement of a moment captured in a bottle. RISE demonstrates this at the top of their game by paying tribute to personal and artistic legacies with upbeat, energetic tunes.

The trademark combination of raw rock intensity and synth-driven melodies from RISE is still present. RISE seems revitalized and ready to take back the stage, bolstered by the explosive drumming of Alex Mahoney and the razor-sharp riffing of Brian Petch. With an unbreakable hook that draws you in, Sam Kinley's vocals soar above a wall of guitars and synthesizers.

The bass player and drummer were really in sync below the singer. Paul was rocking out on the keys while Alex pounded the drums. Together they kept a cool, steady beat that made you want to rock out. At the same time, the guitarist Brian was shredding some sweet licks and riffs. He played with so much energy and skill. His guitar playing is like a lesson on how to mix melody and excitement. Both the rhythm section and Brian worked together to carefully move each song forward at just the right pace. They made sure the timing was perfect so everyone could enjoy the music.

"Without You" is dedicated to the memory of RISE's original member, who sadly passed. Paired with the synth-laden instrumentation, it's an emotionally charged track that shows RISE's talent for creating rousing anthems with meaningful messages. That spirit of remembrance fueling new possibilities is what makes "Without You" so resonant. Synthesizers swell and guitars soar, carried by rousing vocals.

"Without You" is a genuine tribute that stands out above the others, produced by the renowned Rob Whiteley. Through the magic they created together, each note contains the fervor and presence of the departed member, bringing his memory to life. As the song builds to a dramatic, high note, they provide a beautiful, bittersweet vocal performance.

After over three decades on ice, RISE have well and truly risen from the ashes with "Memories and Possibilities" and "Without You." This is the work of a band reinvigorated but also respectful of the past. It's the best restart of an era long thought gone, lighting a fire in the hearts of fans old and new alike. TOP BEST HITSChina Rose By GARY DRANOW

April 9, 2024 by SAIIDZ

I've always loved the poignant narrative that Gary Dranow and The Manic Emotions do with their music. Their sound has genuinely hit many, as seen by their 60k Instagram followers, 4k Spotify followers, and over 61k monthly listeners. I was so excited to check out their new sound when I learned that they had dropped a new track called "China Rose."

The song is about things that are still important today, like chasing your dreams even when things get tough and fighting for the freedom to choose your path in life.

"China Rose" came out last month, and many people all over the world have been listening to it since! That comes as no surprise. With such a moving story and sounds that pull you in, it's certain to keep folks interested. On Spotify, the track has already amassed over 6k listeners for Gary Dranow, a figure that continues to climb as more discover this gem. Gary and The Manic Emotions have struck a chord with their artistry.

Let's dive into this track breakdown together. Right off the bat, I was intrigued. The opening with that twinkling springtime sound had me feeling the vibe. It sets such a dope scene.

And then, we jump right into this protagonist's story. Describing her hopes of escaping to Hollywood from communist China, and her restlessness stuck in her situation, you put yourself in her shoes. Not having much freedom would make anyone feel caged in. Hollywood shining as this place of possibility from far away is really powerful imagery. Props for painting that picture so clearly.

As for the band The Manic Emotions, their guitar work on this joint is straight-fire. The chords swell and cascade like waves. You could visualize it, it comes out with super strong playing. And those little peppered lead lines accenting the lyrics are chefs' kisses. It's no easy feat keeping things interesting but also letting the vocals shine through, and they handled that flawlessly. Mad respect for the artists. The steady bassline drives it forward, giving hope in the struggle.

We highly recommend giving "China Rose" a listen. The song is a beautiful symbol of hope's ability to blossom even in the darkest of circumstances. Through his words and The Manic Emotions' moving instrumentation, Gary Dranow invites us to celebrate the indomitable human spirit. This track has certainly earned a permanent place in my regular rotation. Be sure to check out more from Gary and the band on Spotify.
